"Susie Green is a most perceptive teacher. Her insight into the physical and emotional needs of her students is remarkable. A good descriptive word for her is "tenderhearted." Her past third graders love her and come back to see her often. She deeply cares for her kids and they know that. Her attitude with children and her instructional strategies are above the norm. Mrs. Green's kids are excited about learning. As a teacher, she is innovative, creative, committed, and willing to try new and different ideas in instructional techniques in teaching academic skills. Her professionalism is exemplified through her actions in and out of the classroom. Therefore, her ability as an exceptional teacher, coupled with her compassion, qualify her for recognition as a master educator."
