Arkansas Scholars are students who make make good grades, take recommended courses, have an acceptable attendance record, and who don't drop out.  It's that simple!

Why should you be an Arkansas Scholar?

Students who meet Arkansas Scholar requirements are b etter prepared for additional education after graduation.
Many businesses in Arkansas have agreed to recognize the achievement of Arkansas scholar status as a symbol of quality education.  As an Arkansas Scholar, you may have an advantage when you apply for a job.
As an Arkansas Scholar -- a prepared student or emplo yee -- you will have increased your chances for higher wages throughout your career.

What are my choices after high school?

Attend college
Enroll in technical training.
Join the military.

The Drew Central  and Monticello School Districts in Drew County are among the more than 51 school districts in Arkansas who are currently participating in this program.
